The Central Hastings Support Network Inc. (CHSN) is a non-profit, registered charity that delivers programs for the benefit of the Central Hastings community.  Programs are developed and delivered to meet the needs of people suffering from the lack of adequate resources, poverty, age, disability or other vulnerability that impedes participation in the greater community.  CHSN provides the following services:

• Operation of the CHSN Helping Hands Food Bank for the 473 telephone area,
• Volunteer Driver program,
• Central Hastings Public Transit,
• provision of referrals to individuals in crisis who need information on where to seek help,
• provision of resources, government information and forms,
• participation in fundraising and service gap identification, and,
• Organizing the Christmas Sharing Program and similar community events
• Community Volunteer Income Tax Program for low income individuals and families.
